Allendale is one of those Bergen County towns that's full of charm — with friendly neighborhoods, beautiful outdoor spaces, and that small-town warmth that makes it so special. It’s a wonderful place for relaxed family sessions surrounded by nature and soft, golden light.
One of my favorite local spots is Orchard Commons, a quiet, scenic park with plenty of space for families to explore and play. The open fields, tree-lined paths, and warm light make it perfect for capturing those candid, in-between moments I love so much. I also adore The Celery Farm, a hidden gem for families who want a more natural, woodsy backdrop. Between the tall grasses, boardwalk paths, and soft evening glow, it’s an incredible spot for storytelling sessions.
When I’m in town, I often stop by Savini Restaurant or Allendale Bar & Grill for a bite — both are local favorites that make this town feel extra welcoming.
